Ocean Breeze Hideaway is one of only a few licensed Bed and Breakfast Inns in the County of Maui.
“…waking to birds singing, all with tropical breezes.” Barbara & Ron (Georgia)
We invite you to come relax at our peaceful Maui Bed and Breakfast just a 10-minute walk from Maui’s longest beach. Enjoy a morning swim or snorkel in calm waters, walk or run along this undeveloped white sand beach.
“Breakfasts were ‘5 star.’ ” Ed & Meg (California)
Return to a delicious Island breakfast served on our lanai, surrounded by coconut palms, bougainvillea, and other tropical flowers. Take in the view of Maalaea Bay while you enjoy fresh ground coffee and assorted teas; tropical juices, fresh island fruit; granola; bagels, muffins, scones or banana bread; and a variety of condiments. We choose locally grown and organic at every opportunity. Per Maui County ordinance, we may not serve a cooked breakfast.
We are excited to announce that we have just had photovoltaic solar panels installed! Now, in addition to our hot water being heated by the Maui sun, our electric power also comes from the sun.
“…especially enjoyed the breakfasts with Hawaiian music and whale watch on your lanai.” Stefan & Doerte (Hamburg, Germany)
You are most welcome to relax in our private, fenced garden areas. Enjoy our serene tropical landscaping, Maui ocean views, and garden sanctuaries. Tropical flowers and plants include bougainvillea, fragrant plumeria, hibiscus and bamboo. Organic fruits such as tangerine, mango, bananas, coconuts and papaya grace our garden.
“Your place is so peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed the garden and great breakfasts on the lanai.” Lison & Daniel (Montreal)
The Coral Room is a light and spacious newly remodeled room with a king-size bed, air conditioning, and sliding doors opening onto a lanai and garden, with dining table and lounge chairs, surrounded by bougainvillea and other tropical flowers.

“Thank you for providing a beautiful and sacred space. Your home emanates a wonderful energy that is certainly found in both your hearts and the spirit of this island.” Pravin & Crystal, (Vancouver, BC)
For the budget-minded traveler, the Ocean Room is a smaller room, with a queen- size bed and private entrance, and a beautiful blue tile floor. Your room adjoins two separate lanais, one a shady nook bordered by tropical flowers, rock garden, and fountain, the other a partly sunny spot opening onto the garden and tropical fruit trees. Even though it has no air conditioning, the Ocean Room is located on the north side of the house, with shade and a beautiful blue tile floor, along with a ceiling fan and cross ventilation to keep it comfortable.
“Thank you for making us part of your ohana for nine blissful days. We felt immediately at home and comfortable in the Ocean Room, thanks to your warm welcome, delicious breakfasts on the lanai and the delightful conversations we shared with you and the other guests.” Jed & Brooke (Utah)

Located in North Kihei, afternoon tradewinds keep our Maui bed and breakfast comfortable year round. We are close to shops, restaurants, tennis, and golf. There are many great spots to swim, fish, surf, kayak, windsurf, or sail.
“Your suggestions of places to eat and visit were perfect.” Jan & Bob (Seattle)
Visit nearby Sugar Beach for an afternoon of beachcombing, or simply walk along the sparkling beach and watch for green sea turtles, dolphins, monk seals, eagle rays, and the magnificent humpback whales during their seasonal migration.
